We are happy to rent out our Rare and Exotic Plants for special occasions or events.
We invite you to visit us a few weeks before the event, so you can pick out the plants you require and we can prepare them for you. We can also offer you any help and advice if you are not quite sure what sort of plants you are looking for.
We charge 20% of the price of each plant hired per week or part of a week.
We ask for the rental payment in full up front together with a cheque or credit card details for the full retail value of all the plants hired. This will not be banked at the time, this is simply our insurance against loss or damage.
If any plants are damaged or not returned, the hirer must pay for them. It is the hirers responsibility to water the plants as necessary.
Charge for damage that has occurred to the plants during the time of hire is totally at the discretion of Woodshoot Nurseries. We will assess the damage and charge as necessary, up to the total retail price of the damaged plants.
We prefer you to collect and bring back plants but we are happy to arrange transport if required. If we use our transport this is charged at £1 a mile for delivery and collection plus V.A.T., e.g. you require the plants to be delivered 5 miles away from us we will charge a total of £10 + V.A.T. For larger plants that require larger transport this will be charged at cost (This only applies to local deliveries, Please ask if you require national delivery).
Hirers may decide to buy the plants they hire, in which case the rental cost is deducted from the total retail price.
Woodshoot Nurseries reserve the right to substitute any pre-selected plant to a better or similar standard at no extra cost.
