Plant Hardiness
Plant Hardiness is a very imprecise subject. To say that a plant is frost hardy to -5°C (for example) does not take into account:-
The duration of the cold period - overnight is nothing compared to 30 days (nights)
The aspect - is it in a cold, windy position or sheltered behind trees/fence etc.
Soil conditions - Most of our plants prefer well drained soil to cold wet clay
(There are ways of getting round this one). (for example) Digging grit/gravel into the soil before planting.
Most of our plants will tolerate outdoor conditions in the UK but we will always give the best advice we can, and welcome your questions.
Photos & Pictures
We can send digital pics of all specimen plants by email prior to ordering so you may choose individual plants.

How to order
When you see a product you like simply click on the 'Add to cart' button to add this to your shopping basket.
At any time you can click on 'Items in cart button'. This option will allow you to view and change your selections.
You can update the quantities of an item or remove it completely from your basket.
When you have finished shopping, click on the 'checkout' button and you will then be asked for your delivery details and payment method.
Delivery costs are not added to the total checkout price. This is due to varied weights and heights of plants. We will contact you before total completion of your order to advise of delivery cost. All delivery will be charged at cost. Approximate example of charges are as follows:
Up to 10 litre pot & up to 1.2 meter height plant = £15.00 delivery
All plant sizes and prices are subject to availability at time of ordering.
